Anita Pati

Associate Professor

Dr. Anita Pati obtained her Masters Degree in Chemistry from Sambalpur University followed by M.Phil and Ph.D in Organic Synthesis from Sambalpur University under the supervision of Prof. R. K. Behera. After working as a Lecturer in Chemistry in NIST, Berhampur for some period she joined the research group of Dr. Santosh J. Gharpure and Dr. D. K. Chand, Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM), Chennai as a research associate to gain relevant experience in the area of application oriented organic synthesis and supramolecular chemistry. Dr. Pati also got an opportunity to work with Prof. P. S. Mukherjee, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore with Science Academies’ summer research fellowship and added some more stars to her experience in the field of supramolecular chemistry. She joined the KIIT Family in 2013 and at present working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry, School of Applied Sciences. She has been actively engaged in teaching, research and administration at KIIT University. She is having more than 9 years of teaching experience and 16 years of research experience (including M.Phil and Ph.D). She has got the recognition from various Government Funding agencies to work on different projects and also published research papers in reputed journals. She is also a member of selected professional bodies and serves as an editorial board member for some reputed journals. Her research interest mainly focuses on Application oriented synthetic organic chemistry and supramolecular chemistry.
