Srikumar Acharya

Associate Professor

Dr. Srikumar Acharya is currently working as an Associate Professor-I in the department of Mathematics at KIIT deemed to be University. He has 11 years of teaching experience and 15 years of research experience. He received his PhD degree in Operations Research from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur India. His PhD thesis was on ‘Multi-choice programming problems and its applications’. Before joining as a JRF in IIT Kharagpur for PhD programme, he received his M.Phil. and M.Sc. degrees in Mathematics from Berhampur University and Ravenshaw (Autonomous) College (Utkal University), respectively. So far, he has published a good number of research papers in various international journals and conferences. He has successfully conducted some national and international conferences. He has been serving as a reviewer for many international journals such as: IJSS, IJOCTA, IJMOR, EJOR etc. His areas of research are fuzzy programming, linear programming, mixed integer programming, multi-choice programming, nonlinear programming, stochastic programming and transportation problem.
