Soumyaranjan Mohapatra

Assistant Professor

Dr. Soumyaranjan Mohapatra is currently working as an Assistant Professor-II in the Department of Physics, School of Applied Sciences, Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), Bhubaneswar, India. He has more than five years of teaching and ten years of research experience. Dr. Mohapatra completed his B.Sc. (Hons.) in 2010 from Ravenshaw University, Cuttack and M.Sc. (Physics) in 2012 from Berhampur University, Odisha. He has completed his Ph.D. (in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics) in 2018 from National Institute of Technology Rourkela, Odisha. Following his Ph.D. he joined as a postdoctoral fellow at National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Till date, he has published more than 40 research articles in peer reviewed journals of international repute. His researchvinterest includes experimental low temperature condensed matter physics, multiferroics and magnetoelectric coupling."
