Arijit Patra

Assistant Professor

Dr. Arijit Patra  is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, School of Applied Sciences, Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar since August' 2022. Prior to joining the KIIT University, he was a Guest Faculty at Tezpur University, Tezpur, Assam. Dr. Patra completed his Ph.D. from Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology, Amethi, Uttar pradesh. He completed his M.Sc. in Mathematics from Sidho Kanho Birsha University, West Bengal and graduated from Burdwan University, West Bengal with Mathematics Honors. His research interest is in Reliability Theory, specifically in the field of Stochastic Ordering and Ageing. Apart from this he is actively involved with his research work. He has published SCI indexed research articles in various international journals of repute.
