Dr. Abhijit Sutradhar commenced his career as a lecturer in Mathematics in the year 2010 at Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (IIIT Nuvid), Andhra Pradesh. He has earned a bright academic career throughout first class along with more than six years of experience from Triveni Devi Bhalotia Degree College in West Bengal as an Assistant Professor, IIT Bhubaneswar as a Visiting Assistant Professor, and Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan as an Assistant Professor. He pursued his B.Sc. in Mathematics Honours from the University of Burdwan and his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Mathematics from IIT Kharagpur. He has been teaching different UG (B. Tech. & B.Sc.) and PG (M.Sc. & Ph.D.) courses like Engineering Mathematics-I & II, Differential Equations, Transform Calculus, Linear Algebra, Real Analysis, Numerical Analysis, Fluid Dynamics, Numerical Methods for ODE & PDE, C Programming and Data Structure, Python Programming, Data Science using Python, Graph Theory, Advanced Discrete Mathematics. His research publications reach more than 130 citations with H-index 6 in reputable journals such as Microvascular Research, Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, Journal of Fluid Engineering, Journal of Nanofluids, Transport in Porous Media, Journal of Heat Transfer, etc. Dr. Sutradhar has also organized International Conferences and a short-term training programme and has chaired sessions at international conferences. His research areas include Biofluid Dynamics, Magnetic Drug Targeting, and Nanofluidics in Porous Media. He guided eight M.Sc. students, and one research scholar has been pursuing his research works. He qualified JAM 2008, CSIR-NET (June) 2009, and GATE 2010. Among his achievements, he was awarded the First Class First in B.Sc. Mathematics Honours from the University of Burdwan in 2008.
