Priyadarshini Parida

Assistant Professor

Dr. Priyadarshini has completed her Ph.D. from National Institute of Technology Rourkela, with the INSPIRE Fellowship Award from the Department of Science and Technology (Govt. of India). She has also done her Master in Science (Physics) from National Institute of Technology Rourkela. Following her Ph.D., she joined the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, India as an Institute Post Doctoral Fellow and worked from 2016 to 2018. Her research interest is on the Condensed Matter Theory and Computational Physics using Density Functional Theory. She is carrying out the research work on the complex oxides, transition metal-metal layers, and chalcopyrite semiconductors. She has joined the KIIT University as an Assistant Professor in the School of Applied Sciences (Physics) on January 1, 2019.
