Associate Professor
Dr. Madhusmita Sahoo is currently working as Associate professor (I) in the Department of Mathematics, School of Applied Sciences, KIIT Deemed to be University and she joined the University in July 2010. Currently she is the Course coordinator of MATH-I (MA 1003) and an internal member of BOS. She has a research project under DAE, Govt. of India. She is a very dedicated and sincere teacher. She started her journey as a Lecturer in Mathematics in College of Engineering Bhubaneswar, Bhubaneswar in 2006. She has 16 years of Teaching Experience including 11 years of Research experience. She has a research project under NBHM, DAE, Govt. of India. She has expertise in the field of Operator Theory and Fractional Differential calculus. Dr. Sahoo completed her Ph. D. degree in the area of “Positive operators on Bergman spaces and their norm estimates” from Utkal University, M.Phil from Sambalpur University and M.Sc. from Utkal University. Prior to that she obtained her B.sc degree in Mathematics from S. V. M. College Jagatsinghpur. She has published her research wok in many national and international journal of repute. She has presented papers and participated in many International and national seminar/conferences to her credit. Dr. Sahoo is a life member of OMS. ISCA and ISTE. She was deputy superintendent of ladies hostel in the year 2012. She involves herself in various outreach programs like Art of Giving, Kanya Kiran, Plantation and Swachha Bharat Abhiyan etc.
