Bapuji Sahoo

Assistant Professor

Dr. Bapuji Sahoo is currently employed as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics in the School of Applied Sciences at KIIT Deemed to be University, located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. He holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics, which he obtained in the year 2022 from the Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. Dr. Sahoo obtained his M.Sc. degree in Mathematics back in 2014 from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Mumbai, India. He taught for two years at IGIT Sarang, Odisha, and VIT-AP University, India. Furthermore, he has about six years of extensive research experience in several areas of Applied Mathematics. Dr. Sahoo's research primarily on ‘Computational Fluid Dynamics’ with a special focus on the development of higher-order compact Schemes (HOCS) and their applications in rotating fluid flow.
