Dr. Subhasis Samanta is working as an Assistant Professor-I in the Department of Physics, School of Applied Sciences, Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), Bhubaneswar, India. He has more than sixteen years of research and more than four years of teaching experience. Dr. Samanta completed his B.Sc. (Physics Hons.) and M.Sc. (Physics) from the University of Calcutta, West Bengal. He completed his Ph.D. in physics from the Bose Institute, Kolkata.
He visited Justus-Liebig University of Giessen, Germany. He worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar, Odisha. He did his second postdoc at Jan Kochanowski University, Kielce, Poland. His research field is High Energy Nuclear Physics (Quark Gluon Plasma).
