Dr. Dibakar Behera earned his M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Delhi in 1995, followed by an M.Tech and Ph.D. in Materials Science from IIT Kharagpur in 2004 and 2009. He served as a Lecturer in Chemistry at NG College Bhadrak for seven years. Currently, he is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry, School of Applied Sciences at KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar. He has over 25 years of experience in organic polymer synthesis and applications, and has published 27 research papers. He received a SERB-DST funded project under the Environmental Research Scheme in 2014–2015. Four scholars have completed their Ph.D. under his guidance, with four more currently pursuing.
