Dr. Shalini Saha

Assistant Professor I

Dr. Shalini Saha is a faculty member in the Department of Mathematics at KIIT Deemed to be University since August 2022. She earned her Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from IIT Dhanbad in 2021 and has a postdoctoral research experience at IISc. Her research focuses on theoretical and computational modeling of elastic wave propagation in layered media using analytical and numerical methods. She has published in reputed international journals and serves as a reviewer. She has presented her work at national and international conferences, including IITs and IISc, and received the Axis Bank Postdoctoral Award at IISc. Prior to KIIT, she was an Assistant Professor at ITER, Bhubaneswar. She welcomes motivated students interested in applied mathematics research.

Qualified IITJAM(2013), Msc in Mathematics and Computing from IIT Dhanbad. Ph.D in Applied Mathematics (Solid Mechanics and Wave Propagation)
