Dr. Basudeb Dutta
Assistant Professor I
Dr. Basudeb Dutta is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, School of Applied Sciences, KIIT Deemed to be University. He joined (December, 2024) KIIT after completing his postdoctoral research under Nobel Laureate Prof. Susumu Kitagawa at Kyoto University, Japan. His research focuses on the design and synthesis of metal complexes, coordination polymers, and metal–organic frameworks (MOFs).He has published over 130 original research articles (36 as a first author), eight review articles, and three book chapters in journals of international repute. Dr. Dutta received the IUCr Young Scientist Award at AsCA 2019, held at the National University of Singapore.
