Dr. Mohapatra is working as an Assistant Professor-II in the Department of Physics. He has more than eight years of teaching and thirteen years of research experience. Dr. Mohapatra completed his B.Sc. (Physics) in 2010 from Ravenshaw University, Cuttack and M.Sc. (Physics) in 2012 from Berhampur University, Odisha. He has completed his Ph.D. (in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics) in 2018 from National Institute of Technology Rourkela, Odisha. Following his Ph.D., he joined as a postdoctoral fellow at NISER, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Till date, he has published more than 50 research articles in peer reviewed journals. His research interest includes experimental low temperature condensed matter physics, multiferroics and magnetoelectric coupling."
