Samaresh Jana received Bachelor ( in 2000) and Master degree ( in 2002) in Chemistry from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. He earned PhD in Chemistry from IACS, Kolkata in 2007. He has two and half years of postdoctoral experiences from England and USA (2008-2010). He worked with GVK Biosciences Pvt. Ltd as a scientist in the field of medicinal chemistry (2010-2013). Presently he is associated with the department of Chemistry, SAS, KIIT-deemed to be University as an Associate Professor (II) level. He has 13 years of teaching experiences and more than twenty years of research experiences in the field of synthetic organic chemistry. He has worked on Govt. funded projects and published the research papers in reputed journals. He guided a few Ph. D. students for their degree.
