Completed Masters in Biotechnology (under CEEB offered by DBT) from Utkal University. Followed by doctoral studies from School of Life Sciences, University of Hyderabad, on Impact of exogenous melatonin on circadian restoration associated with age induced inflammation. Post doctoral studies were conducted on effects of Probiotics on colon cancer using HCT116 cell lines. At present my research focuses on understanding circadian regulation on regeneration and leaf spices which are used daily to understand the better time of harvesting. The lab also focussed on sustainable Aquaculture systems through recycling of plastic waste and developing non leachable forms which are ecocompatible substrata for periphyton growth and fish development.
