Dr. Sourav Shil is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics in the School of Applied Sciences at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. He obtained his Ph.D. in Mathematics from Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore.
Dr. Shil’s research expertise lies in Numerical Linear Algebra and Matrix Analysis, with a focused interest in Low-Rank Matrix Approximation, Generalized Inverses, and their theoretical, computational, and data-centric applications. His scholarly work emphasizes structural properties of matrices, numerical stability, complexity analysis, and efficient computational techniques relevant to modern data science and scientific computing.
